How to Use Rivaroxaban 20mg?

A dose of this drug is normally taken with the evening meal if you are taking it to prevent strokes and blood clots caused by an irregular heartbeat. If you are taking this medication to prevent blood clots due to other conditions, you can take this medication once a day.

For adults taking Rivaroxaban to treat blood clots, the dose is usually taken twice a day for the first 3 weeks. Do not increase your dose, take it more often, or stop taking it unless you are told to do so by your doctor. The 10 milligrams tablet may be taken with or without food. The 15 milligrams and 20 milligrams tablets should be taken with food.

What Can You Do for Missed Dose?

It is important to take this medication immediately if you forget to take a dose. This medication is taken twice a day. The morning and evening doses may be taken together if you missed the morning dose. Then take your next dose at the regular time.

• This medication may cause stomach bleeding. The risk of stomach bleeding will increase if you drink alcohol daily while taking this medicine.
