Finrest-1 (Finasteride) is a prescription medication that is approved by the U.S FDA for the treatment of male pattern hair loss of androgenic alopecia. Androgenic alopecia is the gradual thinning of the hair on the scalp that may lead to a balding or receding hairline. It is also used along with other medication to reduce the symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) or an enlarged prostate such as:
Finrest-1 works by blocking the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase which converts testosterone into DHT in the body. This enzyme causes the prostate to grow. It is also responsible for hair loss in men who are predisposed to lose hair genetically. Finrest-1 prevents further hair loss and may even lead to increased hair growth.
Finrest-1 can stop further hair loss among men and helps re-grow hair. It’s one of the two U.S FDA approved drug for the management of male pattern hair loss and for the treatment of BPH symptoms. Finrest-1 is a lot cheaper than the brand name but both contain the same active ingredient. The mechanism of action of both the generic and brand name are the same. You can buy Finasteride here.
