Fluticasone

Fluticasone is a nasal spray that is available over-the-counter drug. It is most often used for the treatment and prevention of symptoms of nasal allergies due to:

  • Allergic rhinitis
  • Pet allergies
  • Dust mite allergies

Fluticasone helps relieve an itchy and runny nose, sneezing, itchy and watery eyes and difficulty breathing through the nose. These difficulties may result in upper airway resistance syndrome or even obstructive sleep apnea.

Fluticasone is a synthetic corticosteroid. It works by decreasing the inflammation in the tissue of the nose. It also reduces the chemical in the body responsible for allergic reactions.

Why Buy Fluticasone?

Fluticasone is a preventive inhaler with a potent anti-inflammatory property. Nasal steroids like Fluticasone are the single most effective treatment for allergic rhinitis. It’s available over-the-counter and way cheaper than any other nasal sprays. It’s highly effective and you only need to use it once a day. It’s generally well-tolerated with little to no side effects.

How to Use Fluticasone?

Use Fluticasone exactly as directed or as instructed on the product label. Use it in the nose as directed once a day. Do not let the spray get into your eyes or mouth. Before each use, shake the bottle well. Fluticasone is applied as a squirt into each nostril.

For adults and children 12 years of age and older, use two sprays on each nostril. For children 6 to 11 years of age, use one spray into each nostril. Use the spray at around the same time each day. Do not use more than what is prescribed.

Things to Remember

  • Use the nasal spray regularly to get the maximum benefit.
  • This medication may not work right away. It may take several days for you to see its full benefits. If your condition doesn’t improve after a week of treatment, contact your doctor right away.

  • Do not use this to treat an asthma attack that has already begun.
  • Do not use this if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
  • People with an infection in the nasal passages, tuberculosis, have had recent surgery in the nasal passages must use this with care.
